2018 – Marcus High School/Middle School Off-Season Spring Middle School Skills Training | Flower Mound, TX | April 2 - May 21

The Quarterback Ranch is partnering with Marcus High School/Middle School athletics to provide off-season football skills training for athletes for middle school athletes seeking to enhance their abilities as quarterbacks, receivers, running backs and defensive backs. This non-contact training is designed to provide fundamental skills development and enhancement, using the same offensive schemes and terminology used at the Marcus varsity level. Focus is on proper footwork, mechanics, stance and start, route running, offensive terminology, reads, and much more. Each session begins with a dynamic warmup, following by specific position footwork and hand drills, and ending with routes on air
involving all positions. The training is upbeat and fun but designed to produce specific improvement. Participants must be enrolled at Marcus High School feeder Middle Schools. Session for 8th graders from all three schools will be combined into one weekly session to be held on Mondays at Marcus High
School. All 6th-7th grade sessions will be held on the campus of the middle schools. Training begins the week of April 3 and ends week of May 22. In the event of inclement weather, we will attempt to utilize the gym and/or Marcus indoor if available. If an indoor facility is not available, those sessions will be
rescheduled if possible or cancelled. No special equipment is needed.
