2018 – McKinney Middle School Off-Season Football Spring Skills Training | Dallas, Texas | April 23 - May 29
The Quarterback Ranch is partnering with McKinney ISD to provide offseason football skills training for athletes in middle school seeking to enhance their abilities as quarterbacks, receivers, running backs and defensive backs. This non-contact training is designed to provide fundamental skills development and enhancement, using the same offensive schemes and terminology used at the varsity level. Focus is on proper footwork, mechanics, stance and start, route running, offensive terminology, reads, and much more. Each session begins with a dynamic warmup, following by specific position footwork and hand drills, and ending with routes on air involving all positions. The training is upbeat and fun but designed to produce specific improvement. Participants must be enrolled at McKinney ISD Middle Schools. All sessions will be at Ron Poe Stadium, beginning the week of April 24 and ending May 29. All sessions begin at 4:30 p.m. and end at 5:45 p.m. No special equipment is needed.
