Driphus Jackson

Driphus Jackson joined The Quarterback Ranch in December 2015 as a Quarterback Instructor.

Jackson was the MVP of District 5-5A while playing quarterback at Cedar Hill High School. He earned a berth in the US Army All-Star Game after being named winner of “The Ride” a reality television show that selected the top “under the radar” prep quarterback. He threw for over 2,900 yards and 30 TDs as a senior at Cedar Hill where he was a three-year starter. He was an honorable mention Academic All-State selection as a senior.

Jackson, a duel-threat quarterback, went on to play at Rice University where he was the starting quarterback in 2014 and 2015. He finished his career as an Owl with a degree and nearly 6,000 yards passing and 48 TDs. Jackson was one of 22 student-athletes selected by the Allstate Insurance Company and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) for the 2015 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. The team is comprised of athletes who have used their limited free time to perform inspirational acts of service.
