Kierrie Johnson

Kierrie Johnson (KJ or Sweet Feet) was born and raised in the Spring area of North Houston, Tx. He attended Spring Westfield high school were he played multiple sports but cxcelled in football and track & field. As a junior he started at WR on the 2004 5A-Division 1 State Finalist Football team.  In his senior in year in 2005 he was a unanimous selection for WR in 22-5A district. 

After graduation in 2006 KJ attended Blinn Junior College in Brenham Texas where he played one season in 2007, and signed to The University of Houston following the 2008 spring semester. 

 KJ played 3 seasons at The University of Houston from 2008-2010 in the spread offense under then head coach Kevin Sumlin. During his career at U of H he racked up 85 receptions for 1,3500 yards & 12 TDS. 

Following graduation from the University of Houston with a degree in sociology and minor in health he went on to play professional football in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for 5 years. He played for 4 teams: (B.C. Lions, Saskatchewan RoughRiders, Ottawa RedBlacks, Toronto Argonauts). During his CFL career he was a part of two Grey Cup Championships (in 2011 w/ the British Columbia Lions & 2013 with the Saskatchewan Roughriders).  

 While with the Toronto Argos, on August 11, 2015 he retired from his professional football career due to multiple injuries. He joined The Quarterback Ranch in 2016 at our first receiver instructor at our facility at The Farm League in Spring, Texas.
