Keep Fueled Up
During a workout or game, aim to stay hydrated by drinking approximately 8 oz water or sports drink every 20 minutes. If you are working out more than once in a day, have a snack between workouts to keep the body fueled. Good snacks for during a workout are granola bars, energy bars, bagels, pretzels, fruit and sports drinks.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in speech communications from Texas Christian University and Masters in Exercise and Sports Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University.
