Under Armour Passing Academy

The Under Armour Passing Academy at The Quarterback Ranch is our premier annual camp series, held each summer. The primary camp is held at LD Bell High School in the mid-cities of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Satellite camps in the Under Armour series are in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Oklahoma City.

photo2IMG Quarterback Director and former NFL Quarterback Rich Bartel serves as our camp director. Our coaches/instructors for our camp include our Quarterback Ranch staff as well current and former college and NFL quarterbacks and coaches together with some of the top high school coaches in the country. Brad Johnson, Jim Zorn, Brady Quinn, Chris Miller, Jeff Blake, Luke McCown and Mark Clayton are among the NFL veterans who have served as our instructors in 2014 and 2015.

Instruction is for quarterbacks and receivers and our camps maintain a very low athlete to instructor ratio of 5 to 1. Position-specific coaches focus on receiver and quarterback skills and drills before our athletes come together each day for group sessions, including one-on-one’s and routes on air. Camps are age specific and divided between 5th-8th grade and 9th-12th grade.  Our camps also include classroom sessions on the mental game, sports nutrition, recruiting, and many other subjects relevant to young quarterbacks and receivers. A typical Under Armour series Passing Academy includes 8 hours of training over two days.
